German setting of Psalm 100. The Basso continuo part book contains two independent parts. one for each choir. In the tradition of the many a-capella choirs this motet is almost exclusively known as unaccompained music where the basso continuo parts are just ommitted. Conductors. performers think that the Doxology starts with an unaccompained soprano duetto. However, this was not the intention of the composer.
