Pegasus was commissioned by my long time friend and supporter, Adam Steuart, who is the director of bands in the Hennessey, Oklahoma school district. We are both big fans of sci-fi TV shows, which is the genesis for the creation of this piece. It is to be played with all of the vigor of the main title themes to those sci-fi TV shows we all know and love.
