LO.CGB731. This original composition is inspired by the Chinese poem "Night Thoughts" written by Li Bai of the Tang dynasty. 701-762. The sixteenth-note opening figure represents a quiet stream with a reflection of the moon in the water. The quiet, meditative nocturnal atmosphere gradually transforms into a fantasy with a quick and energetic section. The music recaps majestically with triplets and continues to build to a strong and final statement.
