As a starting point, I decided to create a literary theme - a sort of micro tale - and work with rhythmic elements arising from successive changes of time signatures. With that, I tried to compose an “almost” dance with truncated rhythms. I take a rhythmic element as reference, the eighth notes pulse, which always operate as a common denominator between different time signatures used. The sequence of time signatures is always fixed and they appear into thirteen bars groups.
