In a concise 28 measures, this setting manages to touch on the ancient heritage of this text set to a brand new melody. Beginning in unison, the setting grows to four parts in the last four measures. The music has a modal feeling with contemporary twists and an organ part which dialogues with the singers as well as supporting them. Manageable but interesting.
