They also discover that setting up home on a sailing ship has too many ups and downs. They find a few moments shelter under a big sack, only to find that it is soon loaded onto a sleigh by a man in a bright red suit with a long white beard. Eventually the two tired mice find refuge in some warm hay in a stable. But they were not alone, other travellers were also to find shelter in the stable on that starry night.
