An excerpt of the second movement of the Concierto VI (Minué and variations) was widely popularized in an arrangement for organ solo by E. Power Biggs (1906-1977). As this record indicates, it was first published in 1969 and was Freely adapted, arranged by Biggs from Soler's original. The Biggs arrangement is under copyright worldwide and cannot be added here until January 1, 2028. It will be under copyright in the USA until 2065 and in the EU until 2048. The title Fanfare impériale or Imperial Fanfare is not present in the composer's original score. The above arrangement by Pierre Gouin entitled Toccata Real and its orchestration by Michel Rondeau are not based upon the Biggs arrangement in any way, but created independently from Soler's original score.

Extra Information
|
The wide compass used by Soler in these Conciertos, exceeds - in the bass notably - the usual organ keyboard and makes them more suitable for 2 harpsichords or pianofortes.
