A companion piece to Sound Silences, Timbral Timbres shows the other side of the world, constant sound with an infinite array of tone colors.Written in 2002 for Marc Benyahia-Kouider, French cellist and professor at the Poitiers Conservatory, this work has been perfomed numerous times in France and has even been adapted for violins, violas and double basses.
