Description
Jazz studio orchestra with vocal - Medium
SKU: JL.JLP-9329
Recorded by Dean Martin. Edited by Rob DuBoff and Jeffrey Sultanof. Arranged by Pete King. Jazz Vocal. Swing. Full score and set of parts. Published by Jazz Lines Publications (JL.JLP-9329).This Pete King arrangement (in the style of Nelson Riddle) was written for Dean Martin's 1959 Capitol Records album 'Sleep Warm,' conducted by Frank Sinatra. The arrangement begins with Reeds on flutes and clarinets. Optional alternate parts are included so that the doubles may be avoided. Though we strongly recommend using the original instrumentation! Also included is an optional synthesizer part in the event that string players are not available. This is a well-crafted swinging arrangement in the style of the 1950s Capitol sessions that Sinatra recorded. Ranges: Trumpet 1: C6; Trombone 1: A4.
